I've been working on PeopleSoft databases for a four years. The tricky part is that I have been working on single user databases for training. Kind of sticky in that I have technically inplemented every PeopleSoft module (having built two training databases from scratch), but have never made any modifications to PeopleSoft except for translating Oracle PL/SQL in sqlexecute PeopleCode to work with Centura SQLBase.
My company got out of the database business with PeopleSoft 8 because we can't get the software. PS wants us to be partners, but say that our 'unique partnership' doesn't entitle us to software. So we tried to buy it, but that didn't fly either. You know they refused our check? Go fig.
So I know enough about PS to be dangerous, but not enough to get a job as a consultant. Check that, I could be a functional consultant. I've just about memorized the HRMS database structure. So, if you need a really good problem solver that understands the technical people and can translate that into terms that management can understand, please email me.
